Back on the Road, Thanks to Steve Marshall Ford in Nanaimo.

On Canada Day, my truck, the backbone of Universoul Lawn Care Nanaimo, suffered a major oil leak. For a small business that relies on showing up to serve, this kind of mechanical failure isn’t just frustrating. It’s disruptive.
Thankfully, the team at Steve Marshall Ford Nanaimo stepped in.
They got me in quickly, treated me with care and professionalism, and did everything they could to keep me operational during one of the busiest times of my season. Their team, from the service bay to the showroom, showed exactly what it means to support local business. No runaround. No pressure. Just people doing honest work with integrity and kindness. They treated me just like family.
"While my truck was being assessed, they lent me a 2025 Ford F-150 LARIAT, fully loaded. It has completely changed the way I see work vehicles."
This isn’t just a truck. It’s a rolling command center. From the 12" touchscreen and leather-trimmed seats to the heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, and Pro Power Onboard system that can run tools right from the truck bed, everything about this F-150 feels like it was built with tradespeople and service professionals in mind.
There’s something surreal about stepping into a vehicle that starts with the push of a button, warms your seat before the sun rises, and helps guide you safely through tight turns and steep roads. The 360-degree camera makes parking effortless. The onboard navigation saves time. Even the interior workspace folds out into a desk, making quote writing and invoice management smoother while on the go.
I never thought a truck could offer this much practicality and comfort at the same time. After driving a 23-year-old workhorse for so long, it honestly feels like I’ve leapt into the future.
I’m back on the road, and will be better equipped for the future. For that, I’m deeply grateful.
